ABSTRACT

Moringa Oleifera Lam (Moringaceae) is very useful and highly valued plant that is cultivated in tropical and subtropical countries. It is an exceptionally nutritious vegetable tree with variety of potential use. It is a cost-effective, easily available and a rich source of multivitamins (vitamin A, B and C), protein, amino acid, carbohydrates,and other bioactive compound which are useful for normal functioning of body and prevention of certain diseases.M.oleifera is versatile tree, the leaves edible and has therapeutic properties like antimicrobial, anticancer and antioxidant. The present study aim to assess the  high nutritional value of Moringa Oleifera leaves.
