ABSTRACT

In the present investigation a series NiO-Fe3O4 nanocomposite material has been synthesized successfully by Sol-Gel method. The calcination of prepared material was carried out at 500°C. Then material was characterized by X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD)and Fourier transformation infra-red(FT-IR). The material obtained was nanocrystalline, having particle size in the range of 18nm. The synthesised NiO-Fe3O4 nanocomposite materialwas tested for catalytic activity in organic synthesis of Diphenylmethanol.
