Why Mercuric is toxic but Mercuros is not?

ABSTRACT

Heavy metals are metallic chemical element that has a high density and are poisonous at lower concentration. Heavymetals include arsenic, lead, copper, mercury are poisonous and mainly affects human reproductive system. Out of these above heavy metals, mercury is more toxic. There is one debate for mercury that why mercurous ion is less toxic than mercuric.This mini review paper provides an overview of the mecurous and mercuric ion toxicity. Mercury toxicity can be challenging but can be removed with reliability.
