ABSTRACT

Attrition in industry in common phenomenon, which is an important issue related HR management. It is common to small, medium, and large organisations in private and public units. The literature relating to attrition is vast emerging from 19th century. Attempts have made to identify and group the factors causing attrition and also a model evolved by experts in the field. The objective of this paper is to examine a few important research studies done and bring out a profile of the same.
