Inclusive Education and Teachers: An Attitudinal Study of Teachers

ABSTRACT

The current research paper studies attitude of teachers towards inclusive education in Bhutan. The collected sample was one hundred and five  middle secondary school teachers, comprised of seventy eight male and twenty seven  female middle secondary school teachers, was drawn from four middle secondary schools in Thimphu, Bhutan through convenience sampling technique. Results revealed that 1) majority of the middle secondary school teachers (i.e.87.62%) of Bhutan have favourable attitude (to great and some extent) towards the inclusive education and 2) female and male teachers have similar type of attitude towards inclusive education.
