ABSTRACT

Marketing is a dynamic discipline and the efforts of management experts, scholars and practitioners have been making the discipline more adaptive, relevant and useful one. The study of marketing has been approached from different angles viz commodity approach, institutional approach, functional approach, managerial approach and lately from societal and systems approach. Marketing strategy as the title of this research study represents, is the process whereby an organization, in this case Sinebrychoff Oy, focuses its energies and resources on activities which will lead to an increase in sales and dominance in its new target market. The following are the objectives of the study, (i) to present the marketing strategy of granite business, (ii) to present the dimensions of marketing strategy and (iii) to study the effectiveness of the granite marketing strategy. Researcher have taken 25 granite sellers to find the marketing strategies of granite in Coimbatore, convenient sampling method adopted for this study and the same time volume of sales and years of experience were considered while data collection.Researcher concluded that  theoretical concept of price, promotion, products and place are not much awareness and knowledge having the sellers but they are doing it to increase the sales. Sellers should have the related products for design and laying, which helps the customers to finish buildings. These activities will help them to get more customers.
