Analysis of Financial Soundness of Selected Public Sector Undertaking Companies: - Application of Altmaz Z score Model

ABSTRACT

The Present Research paper is focusing on analyzing the Performance of Public Sector Undertaking companies. PSUs companies from a long time contribute in the development of the nation and being in existence from long time.  In the past few years some of the companies started losing their financial strength and on the edge of bankruptcy. Government is taking steps to safeguard them still the performance is not improved as per the desired levels.  The objective of this research paper is to analyses the financial performance of selected PSUs Companies by applying the famous Altmaz Z-Score Model. Through the application of this model it is analyses that whether companies really suffer financially during the period 2010-11 to 2018-19.
