Required Elements for Quality in Educatio

ABSTRACT

In the era of globalization only education is not important, the education that is provided should be with quality. A person’s capacities like reading, listening, writing and speaking have been left far behind. In the present era a person should go beyond this. Today’s education refers to critical thinking, innovative practices and the application of obtained knowledge in daily activities. In the highly competitive 21st century, it is essential to use the most effective learning process to get the best outcome. The concept of personalized learning has gathered momentum in the recent decades. Since it is an age of competition, knowledge has become power; the power which can be obtained through quality education only. A human being is different from other animals only because of his thinking capacity that can be fostered and made healthier through quality education. In order to achieve quality and excellence, it is important for the central and the state governments and all kinds of educational institutions to follow certain practices which will assure the quality of education they impart. Here an attempt is made to write the paper from sociological point of view.
