A Literature Study of Predictive Machine Learning Algorithms

ABSTRACT

Prediction algorithms makes use of historic data as input and anticipate the futuristic outcome by applying different algorithms on the dataset. This paper showcase analysis of different prediction-based machine learning algorithms and helps in understanding the research gaps with the problem statement. It will provide ease of applying different algorithms on various data sets. After analyzing multiple research papers, we found maximum work was done on structured and semi-structured data. However, In the current scenario, Internet of things and 5G related technologies has started dominating the world. So, there is a strong need to analyze unstructured data using prediction-based algorithms. Also, maximum work done is based on supervised learning; however, there is a need to focus on unsupervised learning as well.
