Use of E-Resources by Research Scholars of Kurukshetra University: A Case Study

ABSTRACT

The research paper aimed at finding the use of e-resources by the research scholars of Kurukshetra University. A questionnaire was distributed among the Research scholars to collect desired data. A total of 50 questionnaires were distributed to the selected sample of research scholars, 40 valid samples were collected. The research study found that the majority of users are aware of the availability of e-resources. The result reveals that 28.50 % of respondents want to access only electronic version, whereas only 53.50 % of users want to read the printed journals, but 18 % of respondents want to use both electronic and printed versions. Majority of the respondents, 80%, use e-resources for writing papers. The analysis reveals that many of the respondents search e-resources for writing research papers.
