ABSTRACT
In this paper, the design, fabrication and comparison of simulated and measured results has been presented for modified funnel shaped antenna with dual band-notched characteristic. The proposed antenna has been designed and fabricated on FR4 substrate material. The antenna is fed through 50 Ω matching impedance microstrip feed line. The return loss of antenna is well covering the entire frequency range prescribed for UWB applications with two notches at 3.7 GHz and 5.4 GHz. Satisfactory radiation patterns have also been obtained.
