Narendra Modi and His Mode of Governance

ABSTRACT

The emergence of Narendra Modi as India’s Prime Minister is a contentious issue, both in the public and intellectual spheres. Much has been written about his personality, leadership, and political acumen as a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), as well as his tenure as India’s Prime Minister. Perhaps no other Indian leader has faced such public scrutiny. Many regard him as a future great leader, while others view him sceptically as a self-centered politician. Some describe his leadership style as ’best for India,’ while others dismiss him as a ’party leader’.
