An Investigation of Land Use and Land Cover in Bhiwani district of Haryana, utilising Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

ABSTRACT

As the worlds population and economy have expanded, LULC has undergone significant transformation. The natural LULC has also been substantially impacted by rapid urbanisation. Each and every part of the environment is affected by this process. The Chhoti Kashi of India, Bhiwani, has decided to examine the LULC pattern for this study. Satellite images have been used to study the LULC. The district contains a high percentage of barren terrain, particularly in the south and west, which is a major cause for concern.
