ABSTRACT
Tribal growth has been envisioned as a strategy that places tribe people at the centre of the process. Tribal people may be found all throughout India. They have their own customs and culture. However, they continue to confront a slew of issues that stymie their growth and development, including poverty, educational issues, land issues, health issues, naxalism, child exploitation, and ineffective administration and governance, all of which are examined in this study. This study examines India’s tribal development, the establishment of welfare departments in states, and the establishment of a tribal research institute.
