ABSTRACT
This research paper illuminates the characteristics of romanticism in English literature. This study demonstrates the significant influence of nature on romantic English poets. English literature has been greatly influenced by the English romanticism movement. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to demonstrate how well-known English romantic writers like SHELLY & KEATS contributed to the appreciation of nature in poetry. The study came to the conclusion that the English romantic poets, who were much influenced by nature, produced poetry that adored nature and had fantastic lines. It functions as a mirror, reflecting all humanistic pursuits in daily social interactions. Their way of thinking, beliefs, feelings, and customs. One of the genres of English literature is poetry. Wordsworth has been described as the uncontrollable expression of intense emotions or of imagination. According to Robert Frost, poetry is a rhythmical composition of words expressing an attitude, intended to surprise and delight as well as elicit an emotional response, as stated by Elfar (2010) (Kennedy, 1978:5).
