ABSTRACT

Libraries and its services are intrinsic part of any formal education system as it has great potential to strengthen the system. In India, there are three levels of formal educational system i.e., primary education, secondary education and higher education. For this purpose schools, colleges and universities are the establishments that have academic libraries assisting the rendering of formal educational services. Here in this study the educational institutions of concern are private universities. Education is about knowledge transmission and good people. Education is about Libraries are information libraries which are an essential part in preparation. Libraries have a long historical tradition beginning with historically chained and closed access libraries that use the new technologies to offer information through many facilities. hybrid, automated and interactive libraries today. Librarians, however, have also turned to those of knowledge agents, sailors and cybrarians who are in the vast ocean of reading materials and who are working to fulfil their consumer wants to hear about the stealing, mutilation and pilgrimage.
