Impact of Demonetization on Indian Economy

ABSTRACT

The paper addresses the central government of India’s decision to demonetize currency on November 8, 2016, as well as its causes and repercussions on various sectors in India. The industries include micro-businesses, E-wallet companies, and online retailers, among others. This article analyses the current and immediate impact of demonetization on the Indian economy based on the impact of demonetization in several industries. The paper utilises secondary data collection techniques.
