ABSTRACT

The unorganised retail sector is being replaced by the organised retail sector as we are all aware that the retail sector is growing at an extremely rapid rate of change. Customers are receiving a whole new shopping experience as a result of the proliferation of shopping malls, department stores, specialty stores, and hypermarkets. The consumer is subject to the impact of a variety of variables that encourage him to engage in retail activity at a store that is part of an organised retail sector. This component can be broken down into two primary categories: store factors and environmental factors.
