ABSTRACT
Among researchers and businesspeople, discussions about organizational commitment and human resource development are frequent. Examining the psychometric characteristics of the human resource development (HRD) climate scale and attempting to establish a relationship between HRD climate and organizational commitment of employees working in auto component manufacturing organizations are the main goals of the current study. To ascertain if these two variables are related, data from 593 respondents were gathered and examined.
The psychometric qualities of the scale were assessed using factor analysis, and a favorable association between these HRD climate components and organizational commitment was discovered. These results demonstrate the usefulness and significance of the HRD climate scale as well as its contribution to raising employee engagement levels across the board in auto component manufacturing businesses.
