The Concept of Potential Bias, Fairness in Artificial Intelligence

ABSTRACT

The creation of artificial intelligence (AI) is frequently touted as being one that will change the game in a range of different sectors. This view is shared by a large number of people. The supply of artificial intelligence capabilities through cloud-based platforms is one of the most well-known applications of artificial intelligence (AIaaS), which refers to the area of artificial intelligence as a service. Concerns have been raised about the lack of impartiality and prejudice shown by AIaS, in addition to its scalability, low cost, and rapid availability. These are just a few of the many benefits that come with using this technology. The goals of this research are twofold: first, to investigate the difficulties associated with prejudice and fairness in AIaS; and second, to provide viable solutions to these problems based on the results of the investigation.
