ABSTRACT

During this coronavirus pandemic, online learning systems were utilized to support education. It has provided students with the flexibility to access educational materials at their own pace and convenience. Additionally, these systems facilitated the sharing of resources and collaboration among students, fostering a sense of community even in remote learning settings. This research was conducted to investigate how the online learning program works in state universities in region 1 as a learning management tool. The study specifically sought to describe how faculty perceived the utilization of virtual learning and how students perceived their utility. Descriptive quantitative tool was used in this research. Students and faculty members were selected at random to take part in the study. A survey questionnaire was created and utilized. The collected data, using frequency counts, weighted means, correlation analysis, and ranking, were analyzed. Faculty members from the different state universities in region 1 are satisfied with the use of online learning. Likewise, the students appreciated the use of online learning and perceived it as being effective and useful. Both faculty and students who are taking online classes frequently experience internet connectivity issues, environmental noise disturbances, and low device specification.
