Technology is used in various pedagogies of communication. Success of Communication depends on transmission between sender and receiver through signals. ICT is the cosmic equivalent of a shared information society medium. Standard of a language application can easily be judged by the apt handling of ICT especially in case of English Language in my opinion. Some of lifes most important factual, non-factual and emotive experiences have made English and technology indispensable. The English language has developed into a worldwide language due to its widespread preference over other languages. English has become the language of international communication. English is the official language of the United Kingdom and also of several other nations, including the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. It is also a second language in several nations, including Nigeria, Ghana, etc. English is now widely used in a variety of contexts, including commercial and social interactions. Medical, technological, academic, instructional, legal, artistic, musical, and other fields, all rely heavily on the English language. Due to ICT revolution, there are changes in view how languages are taught to accommodate the ever-evolving environment. Teaching and learning English as a Lingua franca has been revolutionized by the confluence of globalization. The spread of English, and technological advancement, are complimentary to each other. Science, information and technology play critical roles in every facet of human existence. Changes in technology have ushered a new era in the classroom as well. There is ample evidence that the tried-and-tested approaches to education have positive effect on students. For non-native speakers of English, it has become easier to compete with native speakers of English.
