ABSTRACT
Several studies conducted over the years have revealed that the competition legislation has always been suppressed when it conflicts with other laws. as the Competition Acts section 60 makes it very evident that this Act will take precedence over the other Act. However, it has been noted over time through court rulings that the aforementioned Competition Commission of India has never had the authority to control the dynamics of the market. The Competition Act has always been superseded by other authorities. This article examines the Competition Commission of India in light of other regulatory bodies.
