ABSTRACT

The present research work identified various enablers associated with new age teaching – learning environment and established the inter-relationships among them with the aim to develop a Collaborative Learning Platform (CLP). An extensive literature review was carried out to identify and shortlist the enablers. Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) approach was implemented to establish the direct and indirect inter relationships among the enablers. Later, MICMAC analysis approach was used that enabled the classification of enablers into four different categories. The present study identified and shortlisted 13 enablers and developed a conceptual framework to facilitate the concept of CLP. The enablers are primarily from extant literature. The study is limited to higher education environments specific to management education. The next phase will validate the conceptual framework through an empirical survey. The development of the CLP conceptual framework can immensely contribute to the ongoing efforts of digitization of management education. The framework can foster greater participation of industry and academia towards creating an enabling environment of deeper learning engagement for learners. The paper focuses on developing a CLP framework in institutions of management education. The framework will motivate management education leaders and policymakers to develop strategies to achieve sustainable growth with learning inclusion.
